I just wanted to say a big thank you for all the effort that you and your
team put into making last week a really valuable and enjoyable experience
for me. This was only my second trip with Skivolution yet all things being
equal I really don't think that I could see myself skiing in future with any
other company, given the choice. I noticed a hard-to-define 'feel good' atmosphere
around the team that starts with Tracey in the UK office and follows right
through every aspect of the holiday - a combination of professionalism, attention
to detail, good humour and a genuine interest in people and desire to help
them achieve what they were there for. At times it felt more like being with
a big group of friends (including the team) than with a bunch of strangers.
I'm not sure how you've achieved all that and more, but I admire it and would
certainly unreservedly encourage other skiing friends to try Skivolution for
themselves.
I found Pat's instruction really helpful and managed to start to unlearn many
years worth of bad habits! He is a very patient instructor indeed and I found
him totally focused on helping us to get it right in an incredibly upbeat
way. I'm sure there were times he must have felt like pulling his hair out
but it never showed! His exhaustive supply of skiing analogies certainly helped
me to get it wonderfully right once or twice - that's all I need to encourage
me to keep on working on it and enjoying it. Sadly I never got to say goodbye
properly to Pat - if you remember next time you see him I'd be really grateful
if you'd pass on my big thanks to him for all his help, humour and patience.
As I said, it was Marie back in March in Courchevel who sowed the seed in
my thoughts about coming to Kaprun and had she not done so I doubt that I
would have considered that it was for me. If you are looking to encourage
more intermediate-level skiers to do a week such as the Kaprun week, nothing
beats a little personal encouragement from someone who knows both how the
person skis and what is on offer.
Anyway, it was really good to meet you, my best wishes to you and all the

I should have realised when I spotted the course on the web site or perhaps
when we spoke about it last year. This was no holiday; it was a boot camp!!
