Skivolution School of Cookery

Chalet Nicola is situated in Le Praz, Courchevel and is a traditional three storey chalet with slope facing views and a beautiful log fire. This chalet has ideal facilities for a cookery school in which students can enjoy cookery demonstrations and a "hands on" cooking experience in small groups.

Our approach to cookery and tuition in small classes enables us to get the best out of every student. The courses are intensive but great fun, each day concluding with a dinner party giving everyone an opportunity to practice being the perfect host. The social and relaxed environment in the kitchen encourages our students to excel and develop their own style which will be reflected in their cooking.

Each course is designed to boost confidence, develop culinary skills and the knowledge of cooking, giving each student the ability and inspiration to create their own masterpieces in the kitchen.

This is a great opportunity for learning in France based in a realistic chalet environment with six nights accommodation and the five day course with everything else included. (excludes flights)

Chalet Cooks / Hosts Five Day Intensive Course

There is an art to being a great chalet cook. We will show you how to master it. You will receive a two week meal plan with recipes and time plans, the menu plan includes breakfast, afternoon tea of cakes and biscuits, a three course dinner ; canapés, starters, main courses with vegetarian options and desserts.

Help and advice on all other aspects of running a chalet; shopping in a foreign language, making welcome speeches and even coping with difficult guests. We also cover catering for special diets, basic food and hygiene. We will show you short cuts and pass on valuable tips of the trade, teaching you how to handle disasters. We give you the opportunity to start the season with the perfect routine.

Accommodation

Students will live in the chalet and are able to enjoy all the home comforts during there stay. The chalet is equipped with TV and DVD player. All students will have their own en-suite room.
