Skill level: Good intermediates/Advanced/Experts

Location: Kaprun. Kitzsteinhorn Glacier . A superb glacier with skiing from 3100m – 2500m and regularly down to 2000m. The terrain is varied with bumps, off piste and well groomed pistes.

Course Content: If you want to ski well in all conditions you must have a solid technical basis. The truth is, if the technical skills are not automatic, your performance breaks down when the conditions get more difficult (powder/bumps/steeps). These courses focus specifically on your technique, then test it in the gates! Not only can you make great strides forward in your skiing, but the fun and excitement in the gates is exhilarating. The terrain we use is generally quite easy, but the focus and intensity of these courses allow skiers to make some terrific progress.

Technical: Mainly piste based, these courses will move your skiing onto the next level. Fed up with mundane, uninspiring instruction? Stuck at the same level and never improving? Our coaches work on your technical skills on an individual basis in small groups – it’s this attention to detail allied with regular video analysis that makes the difference.

Bumps: We have run bump courses on other glaciers, but Kaprun is by far the best, with a smooth progression in terms of slope difficulty, allowing our students to make optimum progress. Our instructors will develop your mogul skiing in a clear and easy to understand way – giving you confidence and new skills, making bump skiing easy and fun!

All Mountain/Powder: We can’t promise you perfect powder, but there is a good chance you will find fresh snow high in the Austrian Alps in late November/early December! These courses are about enjoying and experiencing the whole mountain. On piste, off piste, bumps, steeps – we take you everywhere and show you how to deal with it!

Course Fee Only: £300
Hotel Mitteregger:
(3 star) Half board and training course: £589, Single supplement: £50
Additional costs;
Flight to Saltzburg or Munich. Return transfer to Kaprun 1.5hrs, Munich* 2.5hrs : £50
Ski Pass: 166 euros

*Please be aware that as it is a longer transfer from Munich we will need to coordinate arrivals to ensure that full minibuses go to and from Munich airport. We know that you’ll be keen to get to resort as soon as possible but you may need to wait at the airport for some length of time for other incoming flights – until people start to book flights we won’t be aware of how long this wait may be and won’t be able to guarantee waiting time for you but we’ll do our best to minimise this as much as possible. I would suggest that a flight arriving mid/late afternoon would be best but please liaise with the UK sales office before booking your flights.
