Holiday Package

The prices above include:

· Catered ski chalet
· Chalet accommodation with half board for 6 days (breakfast, afternoon tea and 3 course dinner with wine – 4 courses with premium wines in premier service chalets) and self serve breakfast for 7th day (Wednesday)
· Carefully selected unlimited house wines
· Nibbles and pre dinner drinks / canapes and champagne (premier service chalets) for six evenings
· Childrens’ supper for 6 days if requested
· One day of ski guiding (Wednesday)
· FREE ski course (5 days @ 2 hours) **
· Dedicated service of Skivolution chalet staff and managers
· All local and accommodation taxes

** A FREE ski course (5 days @ 2 hours per day) is included in the holiday price. Please note that should you either not ski or choose not to join in our lessons then no reduction will be offered from our standard holiday price. Snowboard tuition is not included in your holiday package and if any of your party would like snowboard tuition then we can organise this for a supplement (5 days @ 3 hours per day) with RTM Snowboarding. These lessons need to be prebooked and prepaid so please let us know if you are interested in this.

Early evening “Kids Teas” can be provided upon request at no extra charge.

Cots, highchairs, car seats and booster seats can be provided upon request at no extra charge.

Additional child and group reductions are noted below.

Prices above exclude: flights, transfers (see below), lift passes, ski equipment hire and holiday insurance.

Flight and Train Journeys

Flight and train journey costs and their arrangements are not included in the price of our holidays. We would kindly request that you make your own flight or train booking arrangements, ensuring that you let us know your exact arrival and departure details well in advance (including flight numbers, departure and arrival airports and departure and arrival times).

We would, of course, be delighted to arrange your return transfer to and from resort from either the airport or Moutiers train station - a transfer supplement would apply (as detailed below).

Transfers

We are well aware that your transfer from the airport to the resort is a critical part of your holiday. No one likes sitting on a bus waiting for other flights with the impersonal attitude of larger tour operators. We have numerous minibuses available for our transfers and our drivers do their utmost to make sure you are picked up promptly and taken directly to our chalets – we work extremely hard to make sure this part of your holiday works smoothly and efficiently. On some occasions, depending on the number of guests being transferred, we do charter a larger coach and reserve the right to do this when required.

It must be stressed that our transfers only operate on Saturdays.

If you are travelling with infants please make sure that you request a car seat if one is required specifying either front facing, rear facing or booster seat. Infants are charged the standard fee for their return transfer as detailed below and we are pleased to provide car seats free of charge.

Would you please advise your mode of travel and transfer requirements to the UK office at the time of booking your holiday.

Transfers From the Airport

The airports that we collect from are Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble or Lyon. If you arrange to fly to another airport then we will be unable to provide a return airport transfer for you.

Please bear in mind that our minibuses are typically only available for airport to resort transfers between 9.30am – 6.30pm on Saturdays. Please check with our UK office before making your flight bookings if your arrival or departure times are outside 9.30am – 6.30pm on the Saturday. If you book flights outwith these times then we are unable to guarantee you an airport transfer. Our first minibuses leave resort around 6.00am and our last minibus leaves resort around 1.00pm to return guests to the airport for their homeward flights.

If you wish to book a flight which lands earlier than 9.30am, then we are happy to collect you at 9.30am and you can enjoy a coffee in the airport lounge whilst waiting (no additional surcharge would apply). For arrivals after 6.30pm then a surcharge in addition to the transfer charge (as detailed below) will apply if we are able to arrange a transfer for you up until 8.00pm. After 8.00pm or if we were unable to provide a transfer between 6.30pm – 8.00pm then a private transfer, at your cost, would be required. However, if we were unable to arrange this we would ask you to make your own travel arrangements to the resort from the airport.

Transfers From the Train Station

Alternatively, if you decide to travel by train then we collect and return to Moutiers train station. Please note that our collections on Saturday commence from Moutiers train station at 7.15am. If your train arrives earlier then there are cafes where you can wait and have a coffee. We would then be delighted to take you to the resort and to your chalet for breakfast. We are able to return you to Moutiers train station for your homeward journey up until 10.00pm.

Transfer Charges

Our transfer charges if you are arranging your own flights or train journey are:

• Geneva or Chambery Airport – resort return - £55

• Grenoble or Lyon Airport – resort return - £60

• Moutiers Train Station – resort return – £20

• Airport – resort return transfer from 6.30pm – 8.00pm
  (if possible and only by prior agreement with the UK office) - £30 additional surcharge

Private Transfers

If you are a small group we can arrange a private transfer to and from the airport. Cost is £225 one way for the minibus for Geneva and Chambery airports and £240 one way for the minibus for Grenoble or Lyon airports. Please contact our UK sales office if you are interested in this type of transfer.

Empty Bed/Single Supplements

If you have a group who would like full occupancy of a chalet and wish to keep some beds empty or if you are a single traveller but would like your own twin room or are two people sharing a triple room, there will be an additional charge for any beds remaining empty in the room.

Low season: 15 December / 03 January / 10 January / 17 January
Standard Chalets - £120 per empty bed
Yale - £200 per empty bed
Premier Chalets - (Elise/Pareloup/Rosalie) £230 per empty bed

Peak dates: 29 December / 14 February - Full Price of holiday

All other dates:
Standard Chalets - £200 per empty bed
Premier Chalets - £230 per empty bed

Group Discounts

We are pleased to offer discounts for groups, provided all members travel on the same date and a single party leader handles ALL correspondence and queries.

10 travelling – 11th goes free on 13 December 2008, 3 January – 31 January 2009, 28 February – 14 March 2009

All other dates 15 travel – 16th goes free.

Children do not count towards free place ratios.

Child Discounts

Children under 2 years in parents' room - Charge of £35 per week plus the transfer cost as above (if this is required). We supply cots and high chairs free of charge.

Non skiing 2 - 4 years in parents' room - 40% discount, instruction not included (this does not include triple rooms)

Skiers 5 - 15 years in parents' room - 30% discount instruction is included (this does not include triple rooms)

Age 15 and under - reduction of £50 per week in own room.

Children do not count towards free place assessment.
