How to book your skivolution holiday
Availability And Requirements
Please
call the UK sales office on

We will be delighted to discuss your ski holiday
requirements in full detail.
We will be able to let you know availability of
all of our chalets, discuss which chalets will meet your particular
needs most fully, provide advice on childcare and ski lessons, chat
about any special requirements or requests your party may have and
also provide in depth information on Le Praz, La Tania and Courchevel
in general. Tracey, in the UK office, has visited all of our chalets
and worked in resort for seven years so has a wealth of knowledge
with which to assist you.
Placing An Option
When you have decided on the date you would like to travel and the
chalet in which you would like to stay telephone the UK sales office
to confirm availability.
We will then hold a booking option on your selected
chalet or specific rooms in your chosen chalet at no cost to you
for a short agreed period to allow you time to confirm details with
other party members. Once you have confirmed you wish to proceed
with the booking you will then be asked to complete paperwork and
pay the deposit within a specific timescale. If you either do not
confirm the booking option nor complete the paperwork and pay the
deposit within the agreed timescales then the booking option will
lapse and the chalet or rooms will automatically be re-entered into
our booking system as being available. If a booking option lapses
and the chalet or rooms are still available then you are, of course,
welcome to renew the option.
Holding Your Booking
Either complete the on-line reservation form and submit it and we
will then contact you to arrange your deposit payment by credit
or debit card. Alternatively complete the printable reservation
form and send it to us with your deposit cheque made payable to
Skivolution.
(This
printable reservation form will open in a new browser window enabling
ease of printing whilst allowing you to remain connected to the
Skivolution site in this window)
We require a deposit of £100 per person per
week with cheques made payable to Skivolution or payment with a
debit or credit card via the telephone. If you are taking sole occupancy
of the chalet then the required deposit will be equal to the number
of beds in the chalet or number of guests in your party x £100
(whichever is the greater number). Please call or email the UK office
for exact details.
All deposits are non refundable.
Any alterations made subsequent to Skivolution
receiving your booking form will, regrettably, incur an administration
charge which will be advised at that time.
Confirming Your Booking
A confirmation acknowledgement of your booking will be emailed to
you once your deposit payment has been processed by our Finance
Section and it is at this stage that your booking becomes confirmed.
Please ensure that you check your confirmation
acknowledgement email carefully and notify us within two weeks of
any changes which need to be made.
Final Payment
A final balance invoice will be sent by email. This final balance
invoice must be paid no later than ten weeks before your departure
date. If payment is not received within this period the booking
may be treated by Skivolution as cancelled by the client and we
retain the right to retain deposits which have been paid.
Bank transfer is our preferred method of settlement
of your final balance invoice but we also accept payment by cheque
(sterling only), debit card or credit card. If paying by bank transfer
you will find our bank details at the bottom of the invoice. It
would be appreciated if you include your name and chalet as a reference
on any bank transfer payment. Please note that a 2.5% administration
charge applied to Skivolution by the banks is passed on to you if
paying by credit card. We do not accept American Express cards.
Please make cheques payable to Skivolution.
Final Confirmation
Shortly prior to your departure date you will be issued with a final
holiday confirmation letter, guest information sheet and luggage
labels (if flying or travelling by train) or directions to the chalet
(if self drive).
Please note that winter sports insurance is not
included in the cost of your holiday and you should ensure that
you have full winter sports holiday insurance in place before travelling.
We advise that EU Nationals ensure your passport
is valid for the entirety of your holiday and for at least six months
after the journey home. This information should be double checked
with the relevant embassy (details below). Children (including infants)
require their own passport.
Non EU Nationals should contact your local French
Consulate or the French embassy website (www.ambafrance-uk.org)
or if flying into Switzerland should contact your local Swiss Consulate
or the Swiss embassy (www.swissembassy.org.uk).
